Despite being in the shade of big European markets (UK, Germany and France in particular), Polish advertising sector is truly forward-looking. Poles embrace innovation – and we love to have it brought into our daily life.
It is Poland where contactless payments are a common thing (while not being available for our “big neighbours” yet), where so-called “Beacon Valley” blossoms. That’s why Poland was chosen to be Dentsu Aegis Network’s main technological hub for the region.
This is why neurowear gets a lot of attention here – and we’re proud to say that it was mainly due to our efforts. Our first commercial EEG-based project was done for The National Polish Radio and was meant to prove that their variety of channels has something for everybody – whatever frame of mind they’re in. It has been a huge success and ever since our multimedia production department, has been working on new neuro-controlled products.
Both Brainbot (a headset-controlled robot made of blocks) and Mindrace (slot car racecourse, also activated by EEG waves) play a vital role in conferences and showcases we take part in and they’re becoming Polish DAN’s pièce de résistance, which fortifies our position as the most innovative media group in the region.
But the best is still to come – at the moment, we’re not only further developing those products, but also looking forward to the implementation of facial recognition system (Face_In) in the conceptual project “Petrol Station of the Future”. We’re also hoping to find viable commercial usage for Neurocam, which we’ve been highly excited about since the 1st time we’ve heard about it. All with belief that innovation is the first step towards better tomorrow.
